Hi! I am Emil, President of ATU Sligo Students’ Union, and if I should describe myself in one word, it would be a “nerd”. I am passionate about the things I do and I am not afraid to show it, no one ever should! I am originally from the Czech Republic, a student of Sociology and Politics and a lover of technology.
To give you a bit of context, when I was choosing my University course it was either Sociology and Politics or Nuclear Physics. My experience with ATU is full of mixed emotions, but my favorite part is meeting all the inspirational people that work in ATU and trust me, there is a lot! Outside of the working hours you will probably find me dripping sweat in the gym, reading books or research articles (I told you, I am a nerd), or getting drunk after repeatedly saying that I will not drink tonight.
I am hoping that I will be able to chat with you on the campus and get to know you a bit better!
